Moving out

The memorial, truck and crane

After driving for hours we reached Calais

We sailed from Calais to Dover under a beautiful full moon

Just like the ones in the memorial - the ferry's funnel

Spectacular views from the ferry kept our spirits high

Hours later, round midnight, it was dinner time

A stretch, a smoke, a man in the background going bonkers.

Late that night we got in, after getting very lost. I slept here

The next day we loaded the completed memorial onto a truck with a crane. Then we set out in convoy for our destination, London.
